To enter the BUG IT (British Universities Games Internet Tournament) all you need to do is play the game and register your score.
All Student Union/Associations that are on the BAM Student Union Portal will be allegeable to play and will automatically be entered into play on the 1st day of the first complete month from joining.
The website with take your login details and automatically enters your score into the individual league and your University league when you submit your score.
Your highest submitted score in any given month will be your final score that is submitted at the game of the month.
On individual tournament mode your final highest score will be submitted into the individual league and the winners win be notified of their prize within 5 days of the end of any given months play. The individual league will be all players from all Universities within the portal.
On University tournament, the top 100 scores of the University from each game with be added together and divided by 100 to give the final University score. If a University has less then 100 players in a given month the scores will be added together and will still be divided by 100.
Prizes for any given month, term or year and previous prize-winners will be displayed in the Prizes and Prizes Winners section of this site.
Prizes will be awarded for the following; Please note that Starship Eleven has two tournaments “Leisure Shuttle’ and “Space Racer” each will be classed as separate tournaments.
Individual Tournament
- Monthly Highest 3 scores on the chosen prize game
- Yearly Highest score on any game
University Tournament
- Overall University Champion, Combined all games score
Prize-winners. On individual tournaments the individual winner will redeem the prize.Only one prize per student. If one student achieves the highest score in more than one game the next highest scoring student will recieve a prize. On University tournaments the Students' Union/Association will redeem the prize. Individual winner prizes will be available for their Students’ Union/Associations within 14 days of the tournament close date. Individual winners must show proof of membership to said Students’ Union/Association. If a prize has not been claims 45 days after the said tournament has closed, the prize will be deemed the property of that said Students’ Union/Association.
Disputes. If any disputes arise from the results, the web masters decision is final.
Only students registered at their given University are entitled to play and/or win prizes. You can only register from you’re given University of study and can only play for one University per academic year. Employees of BAM Agency Ltd are not eligible to win tournament prizes
There is no limit to the amount of times you can submit your score to the scoreboard.
At 11.59:59pm on the last day of any given month the tournaments will end and the score board will reset to zero, all new tournaments will begin again at 12.00am on the start of the next month
