Counselling Service
The College provides a free Counselling Service for all registered students.
The service is completely confidential; no feedback is given to any College staff regarding a student’s identity.
Counselling provides a safe space in which to discuss any issues or problems you may have and to explore the options and choices available to you.
You can contact the counsellors through a voicemail number where you can leave your name and telephone number or a means by which a counsellor can contact you.
You should get a response within 24 hours (bar weekends) from one of the counsellors.
If you have a strong preference for a male or Welsh Speaking Counsellor, or it is found that another organisation would be more helpful, our Counsellors will liaise with you about this.
Each session lasts for one hour and normally takes place at a counsellor’s house, unless circumstances make this difficult.
The counselling will normally last for a maximum of six sessions.
If you would like to make an please call
029 2039 1320
and leave a message.
If you feel you need to talk to someone immediately, remember that the Samaritans are available 24 hours a day on 08457 909090.
